Deborah Ferguson is currently a postdoc at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. She uses numerical relativity to study binary black holes and the gravitational waves they emit. She is primarily focused on preparing numerical relativity for use with current and next-generation gravitational-wave observatories.
